Amadora BD Festival 2022 will be dedicated to the Portugal-France relationship – Observer
The next Amadora BD festival, in October, will be dedicated to the dedication between Portugal and France and will feature, for the first time, a space dedicated to video games, the organization revealed this Tuesday.
Organized by the city council of the edition, the international festival of project Amado reaches its 33rd edition, scheduled from 20th to 30th of Octoberwith the central core of the programming being located in the Ski Skate Park Amadora and with a forecast still for the Artur Bual gallery and for the Fernando Piteira Santos library.

Although details have not yet been revealed, the general theme of this edition of Amadora BD will be the relationship between Portugal and France, fitting into the cultural program of the Cruzada Season between the two countrieswhich ends in October.
As part of the Cruzada Season, Amadora BD was programmed in partnership with the Lyon BD festival, last June in France.
This year, Amadora BD will once again be held at the Ski Skate Amadora Park, with a 2,100 square meter watered area, for exhibitions, a shopping area, editorial launches, debates, autograph sessions and, for the first time, a space for gaming activities (video games, virtual reality and Arcade games).
The festival will once again feature the Amadora Comics Awards, which will sign an award 5.00 euros to the best comic book work by a Portuguese author.
This year, one of the predictions will be about the graphic novel “Balada para Sophie”, by Filipe Melo and Juan Cavia, which won the 222nd prize for best comic book by Portuguese author at the Amadora festival.
Argentine designer Juan Cavia is the author of the official poster for the 33rd festival.
