A real open-access museum
Proposed by the Department of History of Architecture and Archeology of the City of Paris (DHAAP) and the Paris Time Machine scientific consortium of the CNRS, this map lists a total of more than 10,000 photographs of Paris, from 1916 We thus have a real gold mine for researchers, photography enthusiasts or simply the curious and lovers of Paris. With this document, it is a real “cartographic tool that takes us to a Paris that has sometimes disappeared and is always evolving”. Backed by enormous archival work, this map is one of the richest documents of its kind.
