Ladu arrives from Sassari Torres • newsrimini.it
The fifth reinforcement comes from Sardinia. After nine seasons of militancy in the Sassari Torresof which in recent years he has also been captain, Maria Grazia Ladu has decided to embark on a new adventure. And this adventure will be with the San Marino Academy.
“I am about to face my first football experience outside of Sardinia – he claims Laduarriving on the Titan with the loan formula –. I’ve always had a great time in Sassari Torres, but I wanted a change. I think that what presented itself was an opportunity not to be missed: the San Marino Academy project is extremely interesting, and moreover I am going to join a group that, as an opponent, has always seemed united, serious and strong to me. “
Despite her young age – she is a class of 2001 – Maria Grazia brings with her the personality of a captain. Although she doesn’t like to put it this way: “I had the privilege of wearing that headband, it’s true, but I’m not one to walk around bragging about it. It is not in my character. I have some experience and I would like it to be helpful for the companions, especially for the younger ones. Of the new team I only know Accornero, who played with me. I know the others by sight or for their technical qualities. I know that I will become part of a very good group, and I think I will be happy with it.
The Sardinian player, who also has some experience in the youth national teams, counts, among her qualities, a certain ability to adapt. To summarize, however, it can be said that you really love running on the wing. “In the last two seasons I have played as a full-back, and also in other roles, but in the past I have always played in front – explains the new Titana -. Let’s say that I was born as an offensive player, even if starting from a more rearward position and taking it is something that I don’t mind at all. And I certainly do not disdain the search for a goal. My experiences with the Nationals? Those started early, with the Under 15 rallies. Then I continued the process with the Under 16 and Under 17 national teams. With the latter I also played in the European qualifications. With the Under 19 team I did a pre-retirement, then unfortunately I got injured and they never called me again. “
Returning to the present and the immediate future, Maria Grazia’s idea coincides perfectly with that of the company: to work hard for an ambitious year: “In all the occasions in which I have faced it, the San Marino Academy has given me the impression of being a strong team, always oriented towards the top positions. I am sure that this will be the case again this year. The company is serious, the project is solid. I will do my best so that my contribution is useful to achieve these goals. “
