The Volta a Portugal is back, from August 4th to 15th, for its 83rd edition. As usual, the region will serve as the setting for one of the most acclaimed sporting events in the country, with the ninth stage starting in the city of Paredes, towards Sr.ª da Graça.
“Between Praça do Império, in Lisbon, and Marginal de Gaia with an incursion into Spain and a rest day in Viseu, 1,559.7 kilometers will be covered, divided between the Prologue and the 10 stages. This will be the 83rd Volta a Portugal Continente”, announced the organization of the Volta a Portugal.
N/A eighth stage, on the 14th of August, the departure will be in the city of Paredes – symbolically in the Parque da Cidade Real after the Intermaché roundabout – crossing the county and also passing through Penafiel. See the stage plan and a summary of the stages of the Volta a Portugal.
