Madeiran Fábio Câmara celebrated yesterday with the Portuguese basketball team the title of the Virtus European Championships, organized by the International Federation for Athletes with Intellectual Disabilities (Virtus).
In the second edition of this edition, which is taking place in Krakow, Poland, the athlete from the Sports Club ‘Os Especiais’ was in good shape in the Quinas team throughout the competition. The Portuguese team even managed to finish undefeated in the competition, after the three games played in the first phase and then in the grand final.

In the final and in the fight for the gold, the Portuguese team measured strength with the French and came to win again, this time by the result of 74-39. In this meeting with the Madeiran player, he was on the field for 4.55 minutes, not having added any points.
This second edition of the Virtus Games ends today with the European closing ceremony.
It should be noted that Portugal is present with 38 modalities in five modalities, handball and ball, where they would revalidate the champion titles won in the first edition of the event, and in athletics, cycling and table tennis.
