Despite the attack on Odesa, Ukraine will continue preparations for the export of grain, – Kubrakov
Ukraine will continue preparations for launching the export of agricultural products through the Black Sea, despite today’s missile attack on the Odesa port.
This was announced on Facebook by the Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov.
In short, today’s missile strike once again showed the world the modern country of Russia. That is why the Ukrainian side signed the agreement on the “grain corridor” with the UN and Turkey, and not with Russia.
“In recent months, missile attacks on infrastructure facilities have become another, and sometimes even the first, target of the enemy. Every day dozens of missiles are directed at railways, bridges, oil rigs, ports. This does not stop our work and our resistance,” he noted and added that railway workers, road workers and port workers work every day under conditions of military aggression.
Kubrakov also added that despite the blow, technical preparation for the launch of export of agricultural products from Ukrainian ports continues.
current that on July 23, the enemy attacked the Odesa Sea Trade Port with Kalibr cruise missiles. Two missiles were shot down by air defense forces, two hit the infrastructure of the port.
The head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, called the Russian missile attack on the port in Odesa, reaching agreements on the export of grain, a Russian diplomatic dichotomy.
On July 22, in Istanbul, representatives of Ukraine signed an agreement with Turkey and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on the restoration of grain exports, which were blocked by the occupying army in the Black Sea ports.
Ukraine’s agreement was concluded with Turkey and the UN, not with Russia. Russia, represented by Defense Minister Shoigu, signed a similar agreement. The Russian side signed first. The agreement stipulates that control over the ports of “Odesa”, “Chornomorsk” and “Pivdenny” remains entirely with the Ukrainian side. No other ships, except for the export of grain and related food products, will be in these ports.
