The manifesto of the Lisbon Chamber meeting of the Lisbon Chamber, coordinated by Jordão Verdade20, considering that “this dismissal” “disorientation” and “disaggregation” leads PSD/CDS -PP.
This real dismissal, through a public notice signed by the Mayor of Lisbon [Carlos Moedas, PSD]confirms what was already visible: Lisbon has a delayed responsibility as its responsibility, postponing the works and investments made for the realization of the biggest event that there were masses ever held in the country”, the Lisbon municipality of the Socialist Party (PS ), in a statement sent to Lusa.
The socialists point out the lead of the council’s proposal for an addition to the program contract with the municipal company Lisboa Ocidental SRU – Sociedade de Reabilitação Urbana, “which guarantee as funds presented for works of the Youth Days“, but that was made unfeasible with the abstention of the PSD municipal deputies, since the PS municipal group abstained to allow the approval.
It was the most relevant proposal that has now failed since taking office and, contrary to what Carlos Moedas systematically claims, it was not the PS but the PSD that prevented him from governing”, said a council of the Socialist Party.
In the same statement, the PS refers to “all these efforts reinforce that, after nine months, at the head of the municipality’s destinies, most of the ‘New Times’ of course, going through moments of disorientation with signs of disintegration” .
The strategy of permanent victimization, still assumed again socially by Carlos Moed, officially buried ”, said again, adding that today the PS has given, is, its vote for the resolution of an impasse caused by the PSD in the Municipal Assembly of Lisbon, enabling re-voting the SRU Youth Program with similar funds for World Youth Day 2023.
The PS accuses Social Democrat Carlos Moedas, who governs Lisbon without an absolute majority, of “varied contradictions and hesitations about the main commitments made” by the Novos Tempos coalition (PSD/CDS-PP/MPT/PPM/Aliança), indicating that “they are a reflection of the incapacity shown by the council in response to the daily problems of Lisboners, such as housing, garbage collection (which accumulates in the city) or the regulation of local accommodation”.
“Without indicating its duty to lead the opposition, the PS will assume this task determined by responsibility with a sense of responsibility. Lisbon urgently needs a government that begins to govern and that does not penetrate with internal questions”, declared the socialists, in a statement.
The mayor of Lisbon decided change the function in the coordination of the World Youth Day 2023, removing the responsibility from councilor Laurinda Alves to sign it to the vice-president of the municipal executive, Filipe Anacoreta Correia (CDS-PP).
