Unknown push 28-year-old in the track bed – federal police determined
Cologne After an argument on Tuesday morning, an unknown male pushed a 28-year-old woman onto the track bed at Cologne-Mülheim station. The federal police are now investigating because of bodily harm.
A young woman was pushed from the platform of a Cologne train station by an unknown person onto the track bed. Rescue workers took the injured 28-year-old woman from Cologne to a hospital on Tuesday morning, as the federal police announced on Wednesday. Witness interviews and video evaluations would have shown that there had previously been a dispute at the station Cologne–Mulheim came between the young woman and the unknown assailant before he punched her in the face and she kicked him. The stranger then pushed the woman so that she fell onto the track bed.
Other travelers helped the young woman off the track bed, as a spokeswoman for the federal police said. The dark-clad attacker fled and probably took the S11 towards Bergisch Gladbach. A close-range search was unsuccessful. The federal police are investigating unknown persons for bodily harm.
