LLB launches digital, sustainable wealth management – Liechtenstein
VADUZ – The Liechtensteinische Landesbank has launched the digital asset management “wiLLBe”. With the app, savers and investors can invest sustainably and are supported by the asset management bank. “willbe” therefore aims to offer investment opportunities with a lasting effect and returns.
The “wiLLBe” app is now available in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. According to the LLB, users can invest in seven selected topics that are based on the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDG): clean energy, health and medicine, sustainable living and working, education and equal opportunities, climate and environmental protection, sustainable use of resources and clean water. The “wiLLBe” app shows the measurable impact of the investments. In addition, investors can make an additional contribution with a performance donation by directly supporting selected non-profit organizations (NPO).
“wiLLBe” offers a simple entry into the world of investing – without specialist knowledge and with just a few clicks, writes the LLB. Every investor can make a concrete contribution to sustainable development from an initial investment of CHF 2,000. The app works with an attractive fixed annual fee of 0.49 percent on the assets under management plus external costs, which are shown on the website. At CHF 2,000, for example, these are CHF 9.80 in fees per year.
Expert team determines return opportunities
The LLB Asset Management team continuously analyzes the stock and investment selection from an overall perspective. The selected companies support a sustainable world and are economically sound. According to the broadcast, companies that are associated with the following areas are excluded: environmental pollution, discrimination, child labor, controversial products, violation of human rights, nuclear weapons, anti-personnel mines and cluster munitions, weapons of all kinds and forced labor.

The modern technology of “wiLLBe” was used to create a tailor-made portfolio for the investors with their investment strategy and their personal favorite topics. The app shows precisely and transparently at all times how the individual portfolio performs on financial and sustainability criteria such as global temperature rise, CO₂ emissions and energy consumption.
In terms of a mutual transfer of knowledge, the LLB cooperates with non-profit organizations (NPO), which supplement the company’s own extensions in the core areas. According to its own statements, the LLB maintains partnerships with Mercy Ships, Compensators and Aiducation.
“Anyone who invests with ‘wiLLBe’ can donate a fixed part of the profit made in the ‘wiLLBe’ portfolio to this partner and thus participate in a more sustainable world,” says the statement. Thanks to a donation receipt, investors could save on taxes. This combination of generating potential returns and spending on performance is new to the Swiss and Liechtenstein investment markets.
