- Municipal swimming pools: The cool water refreshes and cools down hot tempers. The Lepi, Volksi and AYA baths are always a good idea on hot summer days.
- Salzachsen area: The Liefering local recreation area is only a stone’s throw away from the city centre. The place offers many shady spots and the cool Liefering bathing lake.
- Alm canal with wave: The Almwelle is a “cool spot” on the outskirts of the city for young surfers. If you like bathing in mountain water, you can let yourself be carried away by the Alm Canal into the city center. However, the adventure is only suitable for very good swimmers.
