‘Best scenario is creepy’
Milliyet newspaper columnist Tunca Bengin, “He is approaching his son in the dreaded earthquake!” In his small column, he drew attention to the expected big earthquake in Istanbul.
Referring to the fact that it has turned into a polarizing political debate, it is not mentioned “Why some events are mentioned by their justifications”.
Bengin, who is believed that even the optimistic scenario about the feared earthquake is believed to be creepy, said in his article, Professor of Science Academy. Dr. He included the statements of Naci Görür.
Bengin wrote:
Not taking into account the earthquake in Istanbul. To be reviewed in earthquake preparedness for us to benefit from those that are more in use than those that are feared to benefit from… yes, in practice in similar places as before, definitely something but we’ve got a lot to show for things to do… the most optimistic scenario would be considered chilling. Science Academy member Prof. Dr. Naci Görür explains:
“We are now towards the end of the scientifically determined period. The probability of it happening by 2030 is 64 percent. This is a high limit. With both government and pro-municipal studies, they say they are a bit lacking. There is an earthquake in one million 100-odd buildings in Istanbul. We gave up on this one million building, the heaviest building, and its numbers are roughly over 50 thousand. Now let’s say we give up 50 thousand buildings, let’s think that 10 thousand buildings are in the mouth of the ball, let’s think that there is no one that explodes, 10 thousand buildings are not this residence. Let’s think of each building as 4 floors, it would be 40 thousand floors. It puts 2 flats on each floor, then it will be 80 thousand flats. Put 4 people in each flat, 320 thousand people. It is an asset that is less than the population density in this earthquake. The minimum is to say, which is 300 thousand, you will be considered a million.”
Referring to this painting as a drawing in politics, Görür said, “S is an interesting thing. Everyone loves the country, but we do not make the right opinion about the country. We can’t come together, they don’t even know about science, they don’t even listen, they don’t see. If the IMM and the government go to war, they should prepare Istanbul for an earthquake. He will die, it will appear as a plague. This discount policy does not exist,” he says. Here it is read by the order of the Istanbul Governor’s Office of the Interior. He draws attention to the project called IRAP, he does it:
“This is extremely beautiful, extremely accurate, extremely work. How much time did this governorship complete their plans from the duties related to the institution that trains all the schools that have earthquake-related schools in Istanbul? For example, he says to Zeytinburnu or Büyükçekmece Municipality, or to him, ‘Detect the structure formed by the earthquakes of the houses in these neighborhoods until now, demolish the ones that do not exist and rebuild them. The Turkish Disaster Risk Reduction Plan (TARAP), which was given and distributed 3-5 days before the election of the ‘President’, has the same mentality. He says he is preparing the city for an earthquake and says the right things. If these are done like a man, that is, think of our nation as Japan, within this plan, Turkey will be deprived of a short earthquake. However, I am very suspicious if those municipalities are aware of it, or they do not know what to do even though they know about it, or they say that there is money even though the mayors give money.”
Talking about the dams becoming habitable in the feared Istanbul earthquake, he also died in these heavy camps:
“According to academic reports, cracking occurs in 16 dams in Istanbul with 7 incidents and 5 incidents, and in 2 incidents in the earthquake. There are living spaces made up of those teachers. There is also the issue of Istanbul being thirsty…”
Our old saying is that; In Istanbul, where we are discussing the streams overflowing with the pouring rain, the possibility of an earthquake and the risks are clear and frightening. Maybe it will come to an end for scientific purposes, who knows… I mean, if the feared or something didn’t take advantage of the earthquake, the pull policy wouldn’t break it either…
