Military expert Mykhailo Samus believes that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has now set himself the task of prolonging the war until winter in order to take advantage of the energy crisis in Europe.
According to the expert, Putin is trying to make the most of this period to break European unity in the fight against the Russian Federation.
About this in interview Military expert, deputy director of the Army, Conversion and Disarmament Center for International Affairs Mykhailo Samus reports to TSN.
“Putin doesn’t know what to do, but he can’t stop. This, in my opinion, is the most disturbing factor, because Putin will demand to increase the intensity and still break Ukraine and the West. It is clear to everyone that Putin’s last “tour” will be this winter. He is trying to make the most of this period to put pressure on Europe and break, once again, European unity.. He will use this factor,” the expert said.
He himself expressed the opinion that the Russian “Fuhrer” hopes for the energy collapse of Europe. Thus, according to Putin, the EU will force Ukraine to sign the capitulation agreement.
“He wants to use energy weapons. His task now is to drag out this war, at least until winter, when he will start giving to Europe by other methods… He wants to push it to the edge of Europe energetically. Then he hopes there will be a huge crisis. Force Ukraine to sign the capitulation and somehow get out of this problem. Putin, of course, does not want to give up, because he understands that he will stop his war, tear apart his own entourage inside the country for the fact that he dragged them into such a mess, which does not give them any chance for development”, – the expert believes .
now, the General Staff of the Armed Forces reported that from July 7, Ukrainian defenders repulsed all the attacks of the Russian invaders. Ukraine did not lose a single meter of land as a result of successfully completing the tasks of repelling the enemy’s offensive.
