Diego Alende signs for FC Andorra
The Galician defender terminates his contract with Valladolid and signs for two seasons
The last two seasons, the footballer from Santiago de Compostela, has played on loan at Lugo
Diego Alende, central defender from Santiago de Compostela, terminated contract with Real Valladolid and he becomes a new FC Andorra player signing a contract for the next two seasons.
The 24-year-old player trained at Celta de Vigo where he spent 14 seasons. In fact, in 2015 he made his debut with the Vigo first team at just 18 years of age and in a youthful age in a match against Real Betis. the Argentine coach Eduardo ‘Toto’ Berizzo He gave him the alternative, replacing Théo Bongonda in the 51st minute. He also played a Copa del Rey match against Almeria playing the 90 minutes and also against Cádiz.
In 2019, Diego Alende signed for Valladolid Promesas from Celta B. In his first season he played 26 games and one in the Copa del Rey with the first team against Tenerife. Coach Sergio González gave him 90 minutes. In the second season he left on loan to his land and joined Lugo. In his first year he was a basic piece for the Galicians with 39 games and 27 of them as starters. At the end of the season, Real Valladolid loaned him back to Lugo. With Rubén Albés he played 36 games and received nine yellow cards.
The Galician center-back has just terminated his contract with Real Valladolid and signs for FC Andorra. There he will coincide with another Galician and with a former teammate at Celta B: Diego Pampín. Both were under-19 internationals.
