Southwest Norway: Average price for electricity of NOK 2.71 per kWh on Thursday
In southwestern Norway, there will be an average price for electricity of NOK 2.71 per kilowatt hour (kWh) on Thursday and a maximum price of NOK 3.42.
It reports the power exchange Nord Pool on its websites. Thursday’s average price per kWh is NOK 0.09 higher than Wednesday and NOK 2.08 higher than the same day the year before.
In addition to the spot price for electricity, there is a consumption tax (16.69 øre per kWh), a tax for Enova (1 øre per kWh) and any surcharges from the electricity companies. On top of it all, a VAT of 25 percent is added, and for itself comes the grid rent.
The maximum price on Thursday of NOK 3.42 per kWh is the highest in the country and occurs between 7 and 8 in the morning. It is NOK 0.14 higher than on Wednesday and NOK 2.79 higher than on the same day the year before.
The minimum price will be NOK 2.05 per kWh between 10 pm and 11 pm.
