Not as scary a dragon as they go… mapp
When it gets dark in Krakow, multimedia phenomena are built! We encourage all lovers of dragon stories to watch the mapping, which on selected summer nights will shine on the front wall of the town hall. It is part of the visual setting of the play “Dragon” dir. Jakub Roszkowski. Are you a Wawel dragon in it?
It used to be a scare, now it connects generations and is one of the most recognizable symbols of Krakow. A winged lizard or a crawling reptile with big paws and a toothed mouth? The dragon through the ages on the imagination. This is still the case today!
This time the dragons will take over the Krakow magistrate. “Kraków will make you sad”, which refers to the 50th birthday of the statue of the Wawel dragon by Bronisław Chromy. It is also an idea to make the night walks around the city of Krak more attractive, where smoking breathes fire only to the delight of visitors.
– We have a great piece of fantasy and history to go home! We move to the 9th century, immerse ourselves in Slavic mythology and tell about our beast – says Jakub Roszkowski, the director of the show from which the multimedia originates.
We will be able to confirm the spectacular visuals in a perfect musical setting on the front wall of the Wielopolski Palace, at pl. All the saints.
The project is displayed at 21.00-2.00 on days:
- July 16-17
- July 23-24
- July 30–31
- August 6-7
- August 13-14
The director’s everyday service as a visual setting for the performance “Dragon” in Jakub Roszowski’s play with the J. Słowacki Theater in Krakow. The mapping has already been presented as part of this year’s Open Magistrate’s Day.
