(ANSA) – NAPLES, JULY 12 – It had already been reopened last week, for two mornings a week, in order to encourage the administration of the fourth doses. The vaccination hub of the Fagianeria, inside the Capodimonte park, in Naples, will instead be in full-time operation from tomorrow, every day from 9 to 14, excluding Sundays. Reason, files created yesterday in the territorial health districts for the strong influx of over 60 that replace the second booster.

Other local health authorities in Campania are also preparing to reopen some hubs. In the Caserta area the Teverola hubs, at the Aversa hospital, in Marcianise will reopen for the over 60s from Thursday, while that of the Ferrari Orsi barracks, headquarters of the Bersaglieri Garibaldi Brigade, will not be reactivated at the moment. “We must first check the audience that will respond to this new phase of the vaccination campaign, and then we will decide whether to re-establish the Bersaglieri center” said Ferdinando Russo, the director general of the ASL of Caserta.
