Trend sport inspires at the semester finals of several schools in Tyrol
In Innsbruck, the event for eleven to 15-year-old children and young people from grammar schools and secondary schools took place at the Tivoli athletics facility. A total of 17 “Sportunion” clubs ensure an action-packed sports festival with 520 students from six different schools. Various sports were on the program, including bubble soccer, skateboarding, ultimate frisbee, airtrack, Kort.X, beach volleyball, zumba, slackline, speedminton, basketball, spikeball and chess.
“More than 500 high school and middle school students experienced an action-packed semester finale in Innsbruck with the UNIQA trend sports festival. Studies have shown that the youngest generation in particular has suffered greatly from the corona restrictions, which has had a negative impact on physical and mental development. Exercise is an important factor in terms of joie de vivre, especially for children and young people. In addition, we have established new connections to sports clubs, which are a moving and social engine for healthy development beyond the school,” says “Sportunion” Tyrol President Christoph Kaufmann, who thanks the cooperation partner UNIQA for the successful cooperation.
