After going undrafted in the 2022 NBA draft, the 21-year-old guard has one more season under his contract with Fuenlabrada but is expected to leave. According to Encestand, Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz inquired about his situation a few weeks ago.
Samar’s Euroleague clause is 300,000 euros and he was one of the most important players of Fuenlabrada, which remained in the elite of Spanish basketball for one more season.
In the 30 games he played, Samar averaged 7.6 points, 2.7 rebounds and 4.7 assists for a total of 11 PIR.
