Biennial of Digital Imaginaries #3
The Biennale des Imaginaires Numériques is a multidisciplinary programmatic concentrate dedicated to hybrid and digital arts. Today, it is a benchmark event on a European scale in the field of Digital Arts, an unmissable cultural and artistic event for the SOUTH region. A highlight of 3 months of exhibitions, meetings, performances, concerts, and workshops crossing experimentation, collective experience, discovery and entertainment. After Quebec in 2018 and Taiwan in 2020, the Biennale welcomes Belgium in 2022. Just like the levitation or the quest for eternity that we assumed in 2018 and 2020, the night brings us back to dream, to the imagination and has a power of transformation by taking a new look at things, beings. These spatial and temporal notions give a time of immobilization and in this have a subversive, political dimension. The Night as a possible space of heterotopia will close the trilogy. As part of its action with the public and its transmission policy, the team Chronicles offer a range of cultural and educational activities throughout the Biennale, for all audiences and all ages: individuals, groups, schools, students… Two offices will be open throughout the Biennale: at the Médialab de la Friche la Belle de Mai and the Aix-en-Provence Tourist Office.
