The Nordic-inspired lounge has facilities for working and relaxing, as well as better dining options and fine wines. There is also a unique sauna to help passengers relax before the flight.
The lounge’s à la carte menu offers dishes with “Nordic touches” such as blueberry margarita and reindeer burgers.
The bar offers a selection of vintage champagnes, fine wines, beers and spirits, as well as summer cocktails, mocktails and barista coffee.
David Kondo, Finnair’s Director of Customer Experience, said: “We know that our customers love Platinum Wing, so we are very excited to reopen and welcome guests back with great personal service and exciting new dining options.
“The sleek design, which hints at the best Nordic furniture design traditions and Nordic nature, is used throughout the lounge and will be followed on board in the newly designed long-haul business class, the brand new premium economy cabin and the refurbished economy seats.”
The lounge is located in the non-Schengen area of the airport, so it can be used by passengers traveling to London or Finnair’s destinations in the Far East and the United States. It is open to Finnair Plus Platinum Lumo and Platinum members as well as Oneworld Emerald cardholders.
