Pinzgauer bagged new signing number seven
After Philipp Zeetmayr (Kitzbühel), Gabriel Lima (Anthering), Benjamin Hutter (Empor Berlin), David Hutter (Anif), Marcell Toth (Budai) and Ahmet Keles (AKA Ried U18), the Saalfelden team now presented their seventh new summer signing. As the club confirmed on Tuesday morning, Michael Noggler was guided to the inner mountains by league rivals Seekirchen. “After signing a few offensive players, we have now been able to convince a certain defensive player to go our way. Michael is an absolute team player, practices his sport with a lot of passion, has the necessary calmness in his game as well as a lot of self-confidence and a good sense of humor”, enthuses neo-sports director Christian Ziege.
Coach and player reunited
The 26-year-old defender followed the call of his former and new coach Alexander Schriebl. “Yes, the transfer came about through him. I already had him in Seekirchen, where we had a very successful time and built up a very good relationship,” says Noggler. Even back then, when Schriebl swung the coaching scepter at second division club Horn, Noggler was one of the preferred candidates. “Unfortunately, that didn’t happen.” Now the circle is closing in Saalfelden. “I was very happy when he told me about his new job – I was immediately interested. Alex always manages to inspire and inspire his team. We never had the best players in Seekirchen, but we have collectively through him can always get the so-called extra percentage and win so many close games.”
