Spanish Vonzu wants to grow in Portugal and simplify the retail sector
It wants to simplify the retail sector in Portugal by offering its end-to-end control of logistics and distribution processes. It’s called Vonzu and it’s a platform on a cloudcustom-built for customers and the market, by Mario Martínez-Jurado, who is also the company’s CEO.

This startup appeared four years ago in Catalonia and closed the year 2021 with a turnover of 615 thousand euros, which means a growth of 300% compared to 2019, when it had a turnover of 40 thousand euros.
For this year, the company Martínez-Jurado expects to reach one million euros and wants to expand in Portugal, where it already has ten customers, which represents 15% of the company’s total turnover.
Now Vonzu wants to grow in the national territory by collaborating with several other companies. With these partnerships, Mario Martínez-Jurado hopes to “grow the visibility necessary to position ourselves as the best solution in the sector”.

To achieve its goals, the startup will, still this year, open its branch in Lisbon and build a team with five employees, whose mission will be to focus on the development of Software, the sales team and customer support. “Obviously, we hope that this is just the beginning of a great growth in Portugal”, emphasizes the founder of Vonzu.
To obtain Medrar in a market where other intelligent logistics platforms already exist, Mario Martínez-Jurado emphasizes that the value that Vonzu brings to Portugal is its technology “which is at the level of what is best done globally and is fully adapted to each customer, its growth and the national market – including in terms of costs and investment”.
