The bankruptcy of Wacker Innsbruck also has an impact in the district league west, as Wacker Innsbruck 1c is moved to the bottom of the table. The SC Eglo Schwaz II is next to Master Rum a climber in the regional league. Schwaz wins against Veldidena 7:0, Lechtal loses at Wacker 1c. This is also the way for the SC Sparkasse Imst II free – 3:1 in Wilten and fourth place in the table for purely athletic reasons – in the corrected table it WILL then be third place.
Imst II takes fourth place as Lechtal loses 1:3 at Wacker Innsbruck 1c
Clemens Thurner, coach SC Sparkasse Imst II: “The game against Wilten is going to be very difficult. We knew that this team hadn’t lost a game at home since spring. My team implemented the match plan very well, they were disciplined and gave their all.
The 1-0 field through a set piece, officially an own goal by the home team. The 2:0 was great. Fast transitions and the will to make that goal were the keys – Emirhan Tipirdamaz does it really well.
In the second half we were fully involved again in the first minute. The ball went over our goalkeeper and our central defense to Thomas Neururer, who played a great ball to Kevin Tilg, with a perfect take he actually prepared the 3-0 himself. In the 79th minute, Alexander Beyl was able to shorten Wilten’s lead to 1:3.
Praise to the entire team, we finish the championship with fourth place, unfortunately it wasn’t enough for further up, but we still had a great finish, which can be a foretaste of the coming season!”
