PSV Eindhoven meets Salzburg young star Roko Simic » abseits.at
PSV Eindhoven have their eye on Salzburg’s striker Roko Simic. That reports the Dutch medium vi.nl on its website. However, this should not be cheap for the Dutch runner-up, especially since Simic still has a contract until 2025.
Simic only came up with three cases for the Red Bulls’ squad. The son of the former Inter and Milan star Dario Simic, who was born in Milan, met for Lieferinger for special sovereignty. In 23 games, the 18-year-old Simic netted 17 times and prepared three more goals.
But since Salzburg also have Benjamin Sesko in the squad hierarchy above Simic and the Red Bulls have only just signed Fernando from Shakhtar Donetsk, it might not be easy for the top scorer of the past UEFA Youth League season to gain a foothold in the first team.
PSV Eindhoven will reform theirs a bit in the summer. Israeli Eran Zahavi is set to leave the club, Argentinian Maximiliano Romero has had a very poor season and Benfica loanee Carlos Vinícius has proved a bit too injury-prone.
For example, young Zurich star Wilfried Gnonto is now on the PSV list. The signing of Barcelona striker Luuk de Jong should have priority. In general, however, the Eindhoveners are not particularly well positioned, which means that Simic seems to be the perfect solution in both the short and long term.
The Croatian U21 team player should also be on the list of other big clubs. A year ago, Red Bull Salzburg paid Lokomotiva Zagreb four million euros to free the striker from his contract.
