The 8th edition of Bloom Consulting Portugal City Ranking of the Portuguese and recent growths Talent of the municipalities of the brands in the areas of Tourism, Business and these same municipalities in which they point out their potential and municipalities areas.
Despite the excellent results obtained by municipalities such as Porto and Cascais, which maintain their 3rd to 2nd and local positions, it is the Portuguese capital that continues to dominate as dimensions of the study, with an exemplary performance in all statistics variables and digital – Lisbon maintains a leadership position in the ranking. With the progressive increase in the volume of searches, Lisbon assumes itself as one of the European cities most sought after by investors, tourists and national and international talent.

In this edition, the municipality of Mafra continues to be part of the national top 20, while in the list released last year of 19, having length in length, thus a descent of 2 places.
Regarding the Business area (in terms of investment, the ranking considers “the percentage of new companies over the total number of companies”), Mafra takes the 14th position (+1 compared to 2021). In the hotel occupancy category, the municipality occupies the 2nd position (-2 in the Viveeira category and) in the Viver (Tourism) category, which is considered as a hotel occupancy rate (-2nd position), not qualifying as T, which not only considers the unemployment and crime rates but also the purchasing power of each citizen, in relation to the national average, Mafra ranks 30th (-10).
In the regional ranking of Lisbon, the municipality maintains the 7th position of the previous year.
In addition to the prizes awarded to each region, Bloom Consulting also awards prizes to the municipalities that stand out, giving them the designation of Estrela Brands at a national level, in each of the Dimensions (Business, Visiting and Living) and in the 7 regions of Portugal.
