Patricia Morales. “Do more and better for Portugal”
Goalkeeper Patrícia Morais guarantees that as national team players they are “happy and focused” on the “Portuguese goals in the European women’s football.
“All the players are working hard to, together, do more and better for Portugal”, said the Sp. Braga, which this Friday turns 30.
In a first one, Patrícia Morais considers that “it was a very positive week, which served to assimilate the ideas of the technique. We are preparing to reach the European Championship in the best shape”.
The goalkeeper of the reinforced corners team: “It’s always a pleasure to be in a European Championship. The European Championship and the World Cup are the highest levels that an athlete can reach. For me, the athlete is a source of pride to be part of the lot of players he can hit. goes to England”.
Patrícia Morais expects “competitive and interesting games”, in a “very strong group, with top World teams”.
“The difficulties are great, but Portugal has to be prepared. We are not going to play games”, he warns.
Before the England finals, Portugal will play three preparation games next week: a double clash with Greece, on June 22 and 25, and with Australia, on June 28.
Francisco Net’s men continue their trip on July 3. The team integrates the C teams of the European Championship, with the Switzerland Group (which they face on July 9), the Netherlands (13) and Sweden (17)
It is the second time that Portugal participates in the finals of a European Championship. In the first appearance, the team from the corners got a victory.
