San Marino. Meeting of the National Council on the programmatic plan of the Olympic cycle 2022 – 2024, plant engineering, appointments and budget
The National Council of the CONS in the session last Monday examined the draft of the general lines of the programmatic points referring to the 2022-2024 Olympic cycle, starting from the analysis of the difficult two-year period experienced by the effects of the pandemic and the repercussions of the war conflict in act in Eastern Europe.
In the programmatic document, the legacy left by the previous Olympic five-year period with the memorable third edition of the Small States Games in San Marino, the taking charge of the management of the Multievents and above all the extraordinary results obtained with the three medals at the Olympics of Tokyo shows the world an image of a sports movement of excellence representing a strong stimulus to increase the potential and promote the development of the motor activities of the younger generations in the area.
Reference was made to the ongoing reform process of Law no. 149 of 2015 “Discipline of sporting activities”, with the underlining of the indication of recognition to the CONS of areas of management autonomy essential to ensure the skills and lean operating methods, in order to satisfy the specificities and objectives.
For each programmatic point of the Sports Program Program, a member of the Executive Committee designated will be the body and coordinator of the initiatives developed, with the task of carrying out the objectives set also through the administrative structure of the CONS.
The objectives of the program concern the organization of the offices and the administrative structure, the sports facilities, the adaptation of the discipline to sport, the development of the sports discipline, resources and funding.
A survey of the intervention priorities on sports facilities was carried out with a general analysis of the path undertaken and the strategies for the future to be addressed and developed.
The sports policy and plant engineering documents, in the light of the suggestions and insights in progress, will be presented for approval at the next session of the National Council scheduled for the first ten days of September.
The members of the Technical Commission have been ratified with the confirmation of Pier Marino Rosti and the appointment of Maria Anna Micol Rossini to replace Luca Liberti.
With regard to NADO San Marino, Dr. Claudio Muccioli was confirmed as president and Dr. Roberto Venturini confirmed, with the appointment of the Secretariat of State for Health, Massimiliano Vandi representing the sports federations, Belen Giacomone representing the affiliated associations, Clelia Tini of the Athletes Commission.
For the Sports Court, lawyer Martina Mazza was appointed as first instance judge; second instance judges were the lawyers Debora Cenni and Lorenzo Moretti; alternate judges the lawyers Alberto Francini and Alberto Vaglio
The members Stefano Valentino Piva, Maurizio Mularoni and Giuseppe Mario Muscioni were nominated for the Prize Commission with the president Gian Primo Giardi.
The delegation for the Mediterranean Games scheduled in Algeria, in Oran, from 25 June to 5 July, with 20 athletes from 9 disciplines, as well as technicians, managers and officials led by Head of Mission Anna Lisa Ciavatta, was approved.
Finally, the request for budget adjustment for 2022 was ratified, forwarded to the competent bodies, which takes into account the increases in users.
