Good politics – Starting again from the examples that made San Marino, Italy and Europe great
Wednesday 15 June, at 18:00, in the Montelupo Room in Domagnano, the PDCS, the GDCs and the Santo Marino Foundation organize the first extemporaneous event of the new course of the Political Training School entitled: “The Good Politics: men , the women who made San Marino, Italy and Europe great ”with the presentation of Marco Follini’s book“ Via Savoia, the labyrinth of Aldo Moro ”.
During the evening will be attended by Pasquale Valentini, President of the Christian Democratic Party, Marco Follini, former Senator and Vice-President of the Council of Ministers of the Italian Republic and Markus Krienke, Professor of Modern Philosophy and Social Ethics at the Faculty of Theology of Lugano. Moderated by Sara Bucci journalist from San Marino Rtv.
The text, by Marco Follini, perfectly intersects with the new training course, scheduled from October to February, strongly desired by the PDCS and the GDCs, in collaboration with the Adenauer and De Gasperi Foundation.
This new edition of the School of Political Training will recall the need to train through the experiences and charisma of statesmen such as Clara Boscaglia, Federico Bigi, Alcide De Gasperi, Aldo Moro, Andreotti, Adenauer, Kohl and Merkel, all leading figures of the one who it was, and still is, the political action of the Christian Democrats in San Marino, Italy and Europe.
Politics made by Parties and People, women and men, who have been able to best interpret what our training course – in its third edition – wants to place at the center: “Good Politics”.
These personalities, in fact, embodying Christian democratic ideals, have best governed their countries, carrying them by the hand in change, knowing how to involve citizens in a truly popular action.
Through an introspective path, focused not so much on historical stages or events but on their humanity, ideas, visions, fears, daily living, we would like to deepen their knowledge, and propose them again as models for young people and for all those who they want to do politics in the present time.
In an increasingly “liquid” world, with strongly changing ideals, focused on social media and on appearing rather than on being, their example, their humanity and sincerity in living the political-social commitment, we think it is still extremely current.
Therefore, the Christian Democratic Party of San Marino, the Young Christian Democrats and the Santo Marino Foundation wish to invite all citizens to participate in the presentation of the book by Marco Follini, next Wednesday 15 June, at the Montelupo Hall, and in the new series of meetings of the School of Political Training (the calendar of which will be announced shortly). For those who wish it will be possible to purchase the volume of the publishing house La nave di Teseo, directly to the evening thanks to the collaboration with the COSMO bookshop.
