Burghausen secures the services of Daniel Stjepanovic +++ 17-year-old is expected to be integrated into the regional league
Daniel Stjepanovic signs an additional contract with SV Wacker Burghausen and will come downriver from Salzburg to Burghausen in the summer. Born in Mozartstadt, he switched to the academy of the Austrian champions RB Salzburg at a young age and has played through all the junior teams of the Young Bulls within the last seven years. In Burghausen, the first 17-year-old defender is still eligible to play for the U19s, but will possibly be integrated into the squad of the first team.
“Daniel, who is only 17 years old and due to the RB training, is a very interesting and exciting player for us. As a highly talented boy, he brings enormous qualities with him and wants to establish himself quickly in men’s football. We are happy that he has the wants to take the next step in his football career”says Andreas Huber, Managing Director of Wacker Burghausen Football GmbH.
The young man from Salzburg is looking forward to his new club: “I’m very happy to have signed with Wacker. I think it’s a very good step for my further development and I really want to step on the gas with the team.”
