Sports studio – Isak about Norway:
Norway beat Sweden 2-1 at Friends Arena recently, and the blue and yellows will have the opportunity for revenge at Ullevaal Stadium next Sunday.
Swedish star Alexander Isak (22) is looking forward to the settlement.
– It will be fun. Two matches against Norway in such a short time may not be optimal. We have lost to matches. The guys are longing for a victory. It’s just to squeeze out the last thing we have in us, says Isak according to Swedish Expressen.
What is best remembered from the victory last time is the mouth-to-mouth fight between Erling Braut Haaland and the Swedes’ stopper Alexander Milosevic. Isak feels that Norway throws more with its lip than the Swedes.
– It feels like the heat comes a little more from their side than ours. It is clear it is a Nordic derby, and we want to win all matches. It is built up in a different way when we meet Norway. The guys are sucking. It is the last match of the season for many players. There is nothing to save, says Isak.
When asked why he thinks Norway is more out to stir up the mood than Sweden, Isak answers:
– They had not won in a long time. They are probably quite happy now since they won. We’ll go out there hungry.
Norway beat Sweden for the first time in an important match since 1977.
