“In order to face the foreseeable social impacts deriving from the persistence of the climate of economic uncertainty caused by the health emergency and the conflict in Ukraine – explained the CDLS Deputy Secretary – it will be essential to update and strengthen the tools of well-being and it will be necessary to continue the path of reforms, which must be balanced, sustainable and shared shared “.
The work of the 110 ‘session of the International Labor Conference which is taking place at the UN headquarters in Geneva will end tomorrow and after the period of forced stop linked to the pandemic, the Conference was held in the presence of the participation of some members of delegates and delegates from all over the world, who represented the requests of the three components of the world of work: the whole world of business and of workers. “On Tuesday – continues the CDLS Deputy Secretary – the Secretary of Labor intervened and brought to the attention of the plenary room the commitment of San Marino to promote a new paradigm of sustainable development based on the environment, inclusion and on shooting focused on the person. These growth and relaunch projects, which are also economic common to other countries, are also fully acceptable to Ukraine if unfortunately, the emergency, the economic crisis and are undermining the recent armed conflict, undermining the foundations of recovery and creating growing uncertainties regarding stability. global socio-economic. “After the recent ratification by San Marino of Convention no. 190 of the ILO on violence and harassment in the workplace, strongly requested by the CDLS Women’s Group – concludes Giardinieri – it is necessary to integrate the legislation with the provisions of Recommendation no. 206 and by the implementing rules and protocols. The virtuous path that has brought San Marino into the ranks of the most advanced countries with respect to the implementation of international conventions must continue with ever greater determination bodies and, strengthening collaboration with internationals such as the ILO / OIT and, in particular, with the Office ILO Italy / San Marino “.
