Art Bonus Competition, wins the 67 Columns for the Verona Arena
The awarding of the 10 finalists at the winner’s home
Milan, June 10 (askanews) – Yesterday, for the first time in the history of the Art Bonus Competition, the 10 finalists from all over Italy were awarded at the winner’s home: the 67 Columns for the Verona Arena, a collective project that thanks to its communicative power, contribute in an important way to disseminate the contents of Art Bonus. And a few days before the opening of the 99th edition on June 17, the first preview of the Arena Festival number 100 expected in ’23 was given: the hospitality of the Teatro alla Scala Orchestra and the conductor Riccardo Chailly in the traditional symphonic appointment
The Art Bonus Competition, conceived in 2016 on behalf of the Ministry of Culture by Ales SpA, in collaboration with Promo PA Fondazione – LuBeC, therefore saw the winner of a collective project that has brought together 67 companies, driven by enthusiasm and authority of its ambassadors and founders, primarily Sandro Veronesi, President of the Calzedonia Group, and Gian Luca Rana, CEO of Pastificio Giovanni Rana. The 67 Colonne project has raised over 1.5 million euros a year since its inception, thanks to the work in the area, for which the Arena di Verona is worth 400 million, and has reconfirmed the social strength of the Arena, today the second theater most present in the world on Instagram.
Born from an idea of Andrea Compagnucci, Marketing Principal Consultant, and Deputy Artistic Director Stefano Trespidi, with the contribution of Media Partner Athesis, communication leader in the province of Verona, the project took its name from the 67 pillars of the external wall of the Arena, collapsed during the earthquake of 1117 and today virtually back in place as a collective embrace of the city towards its lyric-symphonic foundation, reaffirming its need not only economically, but above all ethical and social.
The 67 Colonne initiative for the Verona Arena is supported by the collaboration of the historical sponsors of the Arena Foundation, starting with Unicredit, major partner of the Arena di Verona Opera Festival for over 25 years, present yesterday on the stage of the ceremony with Giacomo Marino , Head of Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Development, then Volkswagen Group Italia, Calzedonia Group, Pastificio Giovanni Rana, DB BAHN, RTL 102.5 and the official partners Veronafiere, Air Dolomiti, A4 Holding, Casa Sartori, SABA Italia, SDG Group and Vicenzi. The collection of the second year of the 67 columns has already exceeded the results of the first edition and the waiting list for 2023 is already open, with the aim of welcoming new supporters for the year in which the 100th sandstone festival will be celebrated , of which an important anticipation has already been given yesterday with the hospitality of the Orchestra of the Teatro alla Scala and its musical director Riccardo Chailly in the traditional symphonic appointment.
Delegations of the ten finalist projects attended the award ceremony of the Art Bonus 2021 competition, for Ales Arte Lavoro e Servizi, the Director Carolina Botti was present, while for PromoPA Foundation, the Vice President Francesca Velani.
For the successor of the Art Bonus competition, the founders and ambassadors Sandro Veronesi and Gian Luca Rana, the Veneto Region, the Province of Verona, the Municipality of Verona and again Plácido Domingo, Roberto Bolle and the world of sport worked with Hellas Verona.
The collective movement was therefore evident not only in the figures collected by entrepreneurs, city associations and many private individuals (each year the project collects over 1.5 million euros), but also in the numbers accrued on the internet where it received 38,499 votes on a total of 262,028 collected from the 158 Italian projects passed in the final phase among the 365 initial competitors.
The first two columns, Calzedonia Group and Pastificio Rana, awaiting the presentation of the special initiatives of the 100th Festival of 2023, promptly renewed their participation in the 2022 campaign.
