Which non-qualifying semi-final of Eurovision 2022 was your favorite?
Seventeen countries competed in the first semifinal of Eurovision 2022. Among them were the final winners of Eurovision – Ukraine – and the other 10 best Moldova, Greece, Portugal in Norway.
They joined them in the grand final The Netherlands, Armenia, Lithuania, Switzerland in Iceland.
The seven unfortunates who received the blow were: Albania, Latvia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark in Austria.
Among them we can safely say that the Albanian Ronela Hajati and the Austrian LUM! X feat. Pia Maria was a favorite of the fans who went to the competition.
Ronela’s provocative show – which led to lots of chatting among the first rehearsals – he earned a top 10 spot in the semifinals with the public. But the juries did not feel this, as they ranked her 14th.
LUM! X and Pia Maria, meanwhile, arrived with a strong stage concept – a large industrial halo that emitted light and channeled the club. Unfortunately, Pia’s vocals lacked the luster of her props.
Croatia’s Mia Dimšić finished 11th overall. However, we cannot say that she “barely” missed. Systur from Iceland was 28 points behind in 10th place.
