LMS-J30 | Paris is magical
Thirty out of thirty. By overcoming Créteil this evening at Coubertin (38-33), Paris Saint-Germain signs the incredible feat of winning all its matches this 2021-22 season in the Starligue.
Thirty games, thirty wins, for an immaculate total of sixty points. The men of Raul Gonzalez flew over the championship from start to finish, therefore not conceding any points on their way, and the feat is all the more remarkable given the quality and the requirement of the Starligue. They thus realize the First Grand Slam in the history of the competition.
Facing Créteil tonight, the Parisians didn’t really shake to wrap up their incredible winning streak, dominating the game without a hitch. Nikola Karabatic signed an impeccable 7/7 on shots, and his brother and Mathieu Grébille made 4/4. Kamil Syprzak also went there with his 7 goals.
Unlike the majority of Starligue teams this evening, the PSG players are not yet on vacation, and moreover have little time to celebrate this prodigious feat, since they must now contain themselves on the last deadline of the season: the final of the Coupe de France against Nantes, their dolphins in the league, which will take place this Saturday. In the event of another victory, Nikola Karabatic’s teammates would achieve an absolute clear round at national level, which would undoubtedly compensate for the disappointment against Kiel in the Champions League.
