British minister visits Liechtenstein

British Ambassador Jane Owen organized a high-level reception at the Kunstmuseum on Wednesday 8 June to mark the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the throne. In addition to Liechtenstein representatives from politics and society, the participants also included Minister of State John Glen from the official Ministry of Finance. Before the reception, Prime Minister Risch and Minister of State Glen held a working meeting.
At the beginning of the reception, Government Councilor Dominique Hasler gave a short speech and congratulated the Queen on her anniversary. She also highlighted the long-standing and friendly relations between Liechtenstein and the United Kingdom.
As part of their exchange, Prime Minister Daniel Risch and Minister of State Glen discussed the cooperation between Liechtenstein and the United Kingdom, particularly in the financial services sector, and Liechtenstein’s experiences with the regulation of the token economy.
