Yesterday, June 6, 2022 took place Winner’s reward ceremony XV World Competition “Chinese Language Bridge” among students of institutions of general secondary education and XXI World Heritage Chinese Language Competition “Chinese Language Bridge” among students The Republic of Belarus. Organization of the XV World Chinese Language Bridge Competition This year the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China was entrusted to the Confucius Institute for Science and Technology of the Belarusian National Technical University. Topic Competition – “Achieve your dreams with Chinese – cherish your youth.”
For reference: The Confucius Institute for Science and Support at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Belarus organizes many scientific, technical and cultural events: the Belarusian-Chinese Youth Innovation Forum “New Horizons”, the International Scientific and Technical Translation Competition “One Belt, One Road”, etc. . The Belarusian National Technical University and Chinese educational institutions are also actively cooperating in the field of education, science and technology. At the moment, joint educational programs are being implemented with natural universities in China. Chinese citizens are trained in our research at the I and II levels of education.
In total, 29 students from schools in Gomel, Brest, Minsk, Borisov, Vitebsk, Mogilev and Orsha, where Chinese is taught, took part in the competition. This year, participants sent their work by mail. Their due date was until May 18a May 31 an expert jury consisting of Chinese citizens, which operates on the territory of Belarus, chose the best of the best.
The competition consisted of two Europeand each was worth 50 points.
First tour was directed to the art of oratory. This part of self-perception and monologue performance without relying on printed material. Each logical participant had only 3 minutes: one was allotted for a story about himself, two for a mono performance. The topic was chosen independently, but had to be based on Chinese culture, regional studies and knowledge of the Chinese language.
At the second stage duty was to perform with a creative number. Here, the guys chose the formation of Chinese talents, covering individual characteristics and falling out. The performance, as in the first round, was to last no more than 3 minutes.
