The Professional Order of Nurses is officially established in San Marino
It was announced in the conference by the secretaries of state for the press of health and justice respectively, Roberto Ciavatta and Massimo Andrea Ugolini, on 12 May last to significantly celebrate International Nurses’ Day.
With the official publication of the Statute, which took place this morning, it comes officially constituted the Professional Order of Nurses and Pediatric Nurses of the Republic of San Marino. This was reported by a note from the Secretariat of State for Health.
“The legal pandemic instrument, in addition to giving deontological dignity to a profession that is extremely decisive in the fight against and in the functioning of hospital systems, will allow the enrollment of all graduates or graduates in nursing or pediatric nurse on the basis of the title of qualifying study recognized by the San Marino legal system to increase their skills, being able to enroll in all specialized courses active in nearby Italy – reads the press release -. The Statute, made up of 41 articles, thus establishes the requirements for registration in the Register, the rights and duties of those who practice the profession in the San Marino territory, the creation of the Register of Non-Resident Nurses, the bodies of which the Order will be constituted. , competences and powers, providing for the establishment of an assembly, a president, the council and the board of auditors “.
A step forward for the Republic of San Marino which “with guilty delay – comments the state secretary for health, Roberto Ciavatta – provides dignity and perspective to this fundamental profession.
