The “Live Ink” music festival returns to Verona from 9 to 19 June 2022 Events in Verona
#RinascinChiostro, with this hashtag the fifth edition of the InChiostro Vivo Festival from Thursday 9 June to Sunday 19 Juneten events in the evocative setting of Cloister of Sant’Eufemia. A Festival to be reborn. The review organized by A.LI.VE. The Accademia Lirica Verona has obtained the patronage of the Municipality of Verona on the proposal of the Department of Youth Policies, proposes a program of music events, drama theater, musical theater, permanent exhibitions, literary and wellness meetings. The protagonists of the event are the young choristers, soloists and students of the Verona Lyric Academy who will share the stage with professional artists.
This edition comes with a new graphic, which abandons the digital stroke to enhance the stroke of a very young artist, Aurora Bombieri, who has interpreted the rebirth through laborious hands that shape the Festival and the Cloister that hosts it. InChiostroVivo starts in the name of tradition on 9 June with a classical music concert two very young singers will perform, the soprano Maria Caputo and the mezzo-soprano Carlotta Caruso, in the chamber arias by Francesco Paolo Tosti on poetic texts by authors of the early twentieth century, at the piano Paolo Facincani.
Continuing on Friday 10 June it will be staged The new life, the original musical theater work is taken from Dante Alighieri’s “Vita Nuova”, a complex of lyrics preceded by a prose comment that explains the occasion in which the individual components were born and followed by a rhetorical comment. This approach of the great poet is for the time a great novelty: all the previous love poets had put together “song books”, detached lyrics that were placed side by side. Dante’s prose, on the other hand, is able to identify a profound and unitary meaning in the poems. The work was entitled “Vita Nuova” to indicate Love as the renewal of human life. You interpret the youth choir of A.LI.VE., the actors Bob Marchese and Nicolò Todeschini, directed by Liyu Jin, libretto adapted by Liyu Jin and Bob Marchese. Director Paolo Facincani.
The original music is written by the young composer Achille Facincani and performed on the piano by the concert player Alberto Magagni. In the afternoon of 10 June at 6 pm Matteo Gracis will present his latest book Survival manual for humans using aliens. Discussion with the author will follow. Saturday 11 June at 6 pm the A.LI.VE. will perform in a concert on the poems of Gianni Rodari music by Marco Crestani and Teresa Procaccini, conductor Paolo Facincani at the piano the young pianist Giovanni Stevanoni. At the same time, the works of the artist Aurora Bombieri will be exhibited, inspired by poems set to music.
Moving on to instrumental music on Monday 13 June at 9.15 pm, an ensemble of young guitarists will try their hand at an exciting concert featuring the guitar. Six strings over time, the guitar from JS Bach to Joaquin Rodrigo. The evening of Tuesday 14 June, always at 9.15 pm, will be dedicated to psychophysical well-being, with particular attention to the deep attention and to the very pure essential oils that this fundamental function of our body supports to be fulfilled. Swinging that Thursday 16 June at 9.15 pm an authentic swing concert of the golden years, two musical groups, one led by Maestro Frugoni, the other by Maestro Matteucci, brass, wood and percussion will dialogue with the soloist Elena Fezga. The repertoire, the one that has always resonated in our hearts, will color the night of the Cloister. Friday 17 at 9.15 pm Elena Lucrezia Cornano Piscopia, the first female graduate in the world played by Lucia Schierano, an eclectic and energetic actress, who will introduce us to this strong and determined woman in an engaging and very topical monologue.
It continues with a carnival party, Saturday 18 June always at 9.15 pm, The Feast, in the evening of Fat Thursday before dinner, Harmonic comedy by Adriano Banchieri, 17th century musician. The opera is a harmonic comedy, a musical form from which the lyric opera of the Italian tradition will be born. Thirty young people on stage who under the guidance of Maestro Paolo Facincani and an ensemble of musicians will take us into the popular, light-hearted, irreverent, impulsive and passionate world of Italy in 1608. The concert concludes the fifth edition of Ink Vivo 2022 Mina & Vanoni Sunday 19 June at 9.15 pm. A tribute to the two most fascinating and charismatic interpretations of the Italian song and of the international scene. The young Elena Fezga will accompany us on a journey through time, a dip in the seventies, with its colors and geometric textures and the vitality of the social transformations that accompanied those years.
