Caricature of Latif Demirci with tears was sent off to his son in Istanbul
Hürriyet illustrator, ‘Basın Bey’, ‘Mulis Bey’, ‘Arab Kadri’ creator of such characters, the art of caricature master Ladin Demirci lost day by day.
According to the news in DHA, events were held for Demirci at Teşvikiye Mosque today in the afternoon.
Hürriyet Newspaper Editor-in-Chief Ahmet Hakan, Hürriyet Newspaper Editorial Coordinator Emre Oral, Hürriyet Newspaper Writer Doğan Hızlan, Hürriyet Newspaper’s former editor-in-chiefs Ertuğrul Öz, Sedat Ergin, Milliyet Newspaper cartoonist Ercan Akyol, Cartoonist Tan Oral, Prof. Hüsamettin Koçan, Candan Fe, Journalist Özlem Gürses, Sports writer and commentator Cem Dizdar, Journalist Nazım Alpman, Journalist Atkaya, Journalist Zeynel Lüle, Writer Hasan Cemal and many prominent cartoonists from the media and arts. His condolences were accepted by his wife Latife Tekin ex and Nurver Tiryaki. After the blacksmith was made, it was decided to build it in Zincirlikuyu Cemetery.
