Switzerland has allowed Germany to hand over Leopard battle tanks to Ukraine.

As it turns out, in 2010-2011, Switzerland transferred back 42 such tanks from the German manufacturer Rheinmetall. But earlier they dismantled the 120th guns, volley fire systems, machine guns, airborne communication systems and other equipment. These components remained as spare parts for Leopard tanks.
At the same time, the German defense concern Rheinmetall is also preparing to supply up to 50 Leopard 1 tanks and up to 60 Marder infantry fighting vehicles in Ukraine.
