Oddstips, Ståle Solbakken | 14 years ago Norway managed this in the Balkans
Norway has played 17 matches in the Balkans since 1950, including the matches against the former Yugoslavia.
This game gives 4.20 in odds on Norwegian loss in Serbia tonight
The conclusion is gloomy. The Norwegian football masters have eleven losses, three draws and only three victories. The last victory came back in October 2007 against Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The only Norwegian away win against Serbia came in 2004, but it was in an insignificant private international match. Norway has not won against Serbia or the former Yugoslavia in European Championship and World Cup qualifiers.

The odds of Serbia winning and both team scores have dropped from 5.00 on Wednesday night to 4.20 in odds on Thursday morning.
Serbia knocked Norway out of the World Cup playoffs after winning 2-1 after extra innings at Ullevaal in the autumn of 2020. It was 1-1 after regular playing time.
Now the Norwegian national team boys want revenge, but we are not so sure that they will get it.
Serbia have not lost at home since October 2020, and they have only lost one of the last home games.

Infamous home arena
Playing at Rajko Mitić Stadium is no joke. The arena is known as a “witch’s cauldron”. On Thursday night, however, it is only expected that less than half of the capacity of 55,000 spectators will be filled, but there will still be a massive push from the stands.
Serbia secured a World Cup place dramatically six months ago, when they beat Portugal after scoring several minutes of overtime.
They will continue the good form before the championship in Qatar in November. The last four home games for Serbia have all been very entertaining. On average, 4.5 goals have been scored per game.
Norway has a rather hectic match program after the match against Serbia. They meet Sweden at home and away, and between matches they play against Slovenia.
Although the Norwegian team has enough attacking talent, they struggled to score in several of the World Cup qualifiers and that meant that they failed to qualify for the championship in Qatar.
Men; they conceded less than one goal per game on average, and what Erling Braut Haaland and the other Norwegian players have shown in the last two private international matches indicates that they will get the ball in goal in Belgrade. Norway has scored eleven goals in the last two private internationals against Slovakia (2-0) and Armenia (9-0).
The numbers suggest a purposeful match
It is interesting to bet that it scores over 2.5 goals in the match, but we would rather go for a game where both team scorers and Serbia win.
It is approx. NOK 171 million in the Eurojackpot pot. Deadline for play is Friday at 19
There are good arguments for betting on Serbia winning and both teams scoring. The Serbs have conceded goals in the last five home games, and we think Norway will score against them.
There have been at least three goals in four of the last five matches for Serbia, and the hosts have scored the first goal in seven of the last matches.
