Stronger in the service, forcing the opposing team to receive defective receptions in the block and in the attack, with Gabriela Coelho and Julia Kavalenka showing success in the shot, Portugal reached a difference of 13 points (22-9), before the reaction and severallovena in the wing final, with no impact on the partial.
Seeing the Portuguese team lose 8-6 in the third set, following one of the completed attacks, coach Hugo Silva asked for a time-out that put the hosts back on track for the previous partial, with clear supremacy in the service, in the attack and in the block that fulfilled the last 2 for the services 5-22, closed with the block of Kátia Oliveira, after the difficulties created by Masa Pucelj.
