Ukraine receives MLRS, which flies 70 km instead of 300 km
Ukraine has added new batches of high-precision MLRS missiles, but is unable to fire deep into Russian territory.
According to Ukrinform, an expert on international relations, diplomat Michael McFaul, and an anonymous American high-ranking official wrote on Twitter on Monday. The Washington Post.
“The clarifying comments from President Joe Biden’s administration are encouraging,” McFaul wrote. “Ukraine has added new batches of high-precision guided missiles with more than the Ukrainians have now, but not a missile that can strike Russia.”

WP notes that typical MLRS missiles hit targets at a distance of about 70 km. The United States is going to supply them to Ukraine.
Another type of missile – with a flight activity of up to 300 km is not yet transmitted in the package of military assistance to Ukraine.
However, even short-range munitions can hit targets more than twice as far as those in Ukraine.
