The Mobile Kitchen will allow volunteers to get in touch with people in difficulty and to monitor cases of greater fragility: through a complete meal, the gift of a sleeping bag if necessary, the opportunity for a moment of listening will be facilitated. privileged, preparatory to the creation of trust relationships with the people met, aimed at initiating actions to orientate assistance services in the area and the inclusion in reception and social reintegration paths.
In addition to Naples, the cities of Progetto Arca’s Mobile Kitchen to date are Milan, Rome, Turin and Varese. Overall today in Italy Progetto Arca distributes 2,270 hot dinners and 2,270 breakfasts a week. Other projects are also planned in Bari and Mestre.

“I am increasingly convinced that well-being must win the challenge of modernity, reaching fragile people to offer services that are increasingly attentive to individual needs and general well-being – noted the councilor Trapanese – . The Mobile Kitchen project that starts in Naples thanks to the Progetto Arca Onlus Foundation goes exactly in this direction. It is important, even for those who live without a fixed abode, to have a healthy diet; equally important for us is to promote waste-conscious distribution“.
