Commitments and satisfaction for New Racing for Genoa
The Ligurian team is the first team at the National Taro Rally
Weekend with many satisfactions, the last one, for the New race for Genoacommitted to Rally del Taroat the Slalom Susa – Moncenisio and in Magione in Predator Trophy Factory. Over the next weekend the team chaired by Laura Bottini will be in contention at the slalom Busalla – Crocefieschi with 12 cars and in the rediscovery Rally Valle d’Aosta.
Rally del Taro – In the Bedonia race, valid for the Zone Rally Cup, New race for Genoa first among the Scuderie and a performance to be framed for Nicolò Franca and Laura Bottini (Peugeot 208 Rally4), who closed the commitment in seventh place and excelled both in the Class they belong to and among the Under 25s. Always in Rally 4, good final fourth place for the similar car of Luigi Guardincerri – Michele Guastavino. Class successes, moreover, also for Massimo Garbarino – Ilaria Magnani (Renault Clio Rally5), for Elio Canepa – Giorgia Lecca (Citroën Saxo), who in the N2 preceded team mates Maurizio Zaccaron – Pamela Mirani (Peugeot 106), and for Donato Lanzarotti – Tiziano Cella (Rover MG ZR) in the Racing Start. Finally, Ernesto Franca – Marco Ferretti (Peugeot 106) finished second in the A5.
Slalom Susa – Moncenisio – Among the “skittles” of the historic Piedmontese race, the Genoese Roberto Risso did not betray the expectations, who, with his Osella Suzuki, closed the race in fourth place overall, also winning the D ‘Class. Fifth final position for another driver of the New race for Genoa, Damiano Furnari, who, with his Suzuki-powered BRC Evo 02 Sport Prototype, also took the lead in class. Good redemption for Moreno Furnari (Fiat Cinquecento – E1 Italia 1150), who finished thirtieth overall and third in his class.
Predator Trophy Factory – Egidio Aragno’s experience continued on the Magione circuit in this interesting series. In Race 1 the Savonaese, at the wheel of Predator’s PC015H, confirmed his speed qualities by finishing in seventh place, in the following one, he was unable to break away from the central group of competitors.
Rally Valle d’Aosta – The 43rd edition of the rediscovered race in Aosta will see a crew of the New race for Genoathe one formed by the Genoese Alberto Biggi and Andrea Segir, who will compete with a Roger Tuning Skoda Fabia R5.
Slalom Busalla – Crocefieschi – The Scuderia New race for Genoa will greet the return of the Genoese race with 12 cars, including those that disbanded among the “skittles” in Susa, namely Roberto Risso’s Osella Suzuki, Damiano Furnari’s Suzuki-powered Sport Prototipo BRC Evo 02 and the Fiat Cinquecento – E1 Italia 1150 of his brother Moreno. With them, Ponzellini (Honda Civic TypeR) and Paolo Ratto (Peugeot 106), both making their seasonal debut, then Nicolò Franca, who will return to the wheel of the 106, Pier Luigi Molinari (Renault R5 GT Turbo), Diego Solis (Renault Clio Williams ) and Luca Torrisi (Peugeot 208 R2B). In Busalla I made my debut with the colors of New race for Genoa for Emanuele Luisi (208 R2B), Giuseppe Lobaccaro from Lodi, who will compete with a Proto 126 motorized Kawasaki 1000, and the former “naviga”, with a past also on the track with Porsches, Gionata Maranzana, with a Renault Clio S1600 with which he will also race at the Rally della Lanterna.
