Little Tony, pseudonym of Antonio Ciacci, was born in Tivoli on 9 February 1941 and, as mentioned, died on 27 May 2013 in Rome. Sammarinese singer and actor, although he was born in Italy and has almost always lived in the peninsula, he never applied for citizenship. His family, in fact, was from San Marino for seven generations. Among her songs, those that are remembered as great hits are Cuore matto, RiderĂ and 24 thousand kisses, sung together with Adriano Celentano and ranked second at the 1961 Sanremo Festival. In total, there were ten appearances on stage of Ariston.
The singer passed away nine years ago due to lung cancer. In the past, his longtime wife, Giuliana Brugnoli, had died of bone cancer. Theirs was therefore a common destiny, as he has told on several occasions there daughter Christian, born in the 1974. Since she has always been passionate about music, she is not to fully undertake this profession due to an illness. Cristiana, in fact, has of her anorexia for some time, but the father never accepted it and in an old interview the daughter had said that “he did not conceive her” as such, “for him evil was what strikes you in the physical, not that it explodes in you ‘soul”. Relations with the father were not idyllic and the two were also estranged, until the death of their mother.
