Central Norway: Average price for electricity of NOK 0.12 per kWh on Thursday

In Central Norway, there will be an average price for electricity of NOK 0.12 per kilowatt hour (kWh) on Thursday and a maximum price of NOK 0.13.
It reports the power exchange Nord Pool on its websites. Thursday’s average price per kWh is NOK 0.02 lower than Wednesday and NOK 0.38 lower than the same day the year before.
In addition to the spot price for electricity, there is a consumption tax (16.69 øre per kWh), a tax for Enova (1 øre per kWh) and any surcharges from the electricity companies. On top of all that, a VAT of 25 percent is added, and for itself comes the grid rent.
The maximum price on Thursday of NOK 0.13 per kWh is between 7 and 8 in the morning. It is NOK 0.11 lower than on Wednesday and NOK 0.75 lower than on the same day the year before.
The minimum price is NOK 0.11 per kWh between 0 and 1 o’clock at night and is the lowest in the country.
