Federation Cup Final tied
Sporting Clube de Portugal’s women’s volleyball team lost, this Saturday, 2-3 at home to Vitória SC in the second game of the Federation Cup final. With this result, the final is tied and the winner will be decided this Sunday.
The first meeting started well for the emblem of Alvalade, which dominated the set and won peacefully by 25-20.
A block from Amanda Cavalcanti made Sporting CP also start in the second set in the best way, but Vitória SC forced a much more balanced dispute. Finally, the fifth set, which could not have started for the Lionesses. 0-4, 2-8 and 4-11, which made the task quite difficult. Vitória SC got the first set point at 10-14 and Sporting CP still recovered to 13-14, but the duel ended with 13-15 and 2-3.
Sporting CP and Vitória SC will play again this Sunday to decide the winner of the Federation Cup.
