Ukraine, from Genoa two other vans full of basic necessities for the population
Genoa. Two vans full of basic necessities headed to Ukraine to help the population hard hit by the war.
The initiative, promoted in close synergy by Consorzio Global and Consorzio Pro Loco Genova, together with Federlogistica Liguria, Fai-Conftrasporto Liguria, Confcommercio Genova, with Croce Bianca di Cornigliano and Genoese taxi drivers, has attracted the generosity of many citizens, who in the last month they have contributed to the donation of material in the offices of the White Cross of Cornigliano, of the Pro Loco of Sestri Ponente and of Boccadasse and of the headquarters of the Circolo Tassisti Genovesi.
Last Wednesday two vans full of medicines, food, clothing, blankets and any other items needed and required to help the Ukrainian population left Cornigliano.
The material will be stored in the headquarters of the Remar non-profit organization in Turin for a few days. It will reach its destination next week, in the city of Siret, in Romania, on the border with Ukraine.
“We want to make our contribution – explains the entrepreneur Davide Falteri – This was the guiding thread of the initiative. Creating synergy is important, especially when energies are deployed for a social purpose. The result was really great. I would like to thank every reality that has joined this humanitarian collection. The generosity of the Genoese allowed us to give concrete help to the Ukrainian population, still immersed in an exhausting and relentless war ”.
