This Sunday, May 8, the Catalan Grizzlys received Marseille at home
On the occasion of this meeting against the Blue Stars of Marseille, the “Grizzlys Military Day” was organized to celebrate the commemoration of May 8, 1945, with an operation to support our armies and veterans. In partnership with ONAC-VG (National Office for Veterans and War Victims), the city of Perpignan and the Departmental Military Delegation 66.
In the presence of the Mayor of Perpignan Louis Aliot, the sports assistant Sébastien Menard, the director of Onac-VG Laurence Aresu-Bertin, Lieutenant-Colonel Correia for the Departmental Military Delegation 66.
Part of the profits from the sale of an exclusive Grizzlys/Bleuet textile collection and the refreshment bar will be reversed in favor of the Bleuet de France (the Bleuet is an organization that helps veterans, war widows, wards of the Nation, soldiers injured in peacekeeping operations and victims of terrorism, etc.).
The Blue Stars continue on their win with 8 wins in as many games, despite the defeat of the Grizzlys Catalans keep 2nd place in the Southern Conference, synonymous with receiving the 1st round of Playoffs at home. The Grizzlys will need to win the last two games to secure 2nd place in the conference.
A large audience this Sunday in Perpignan, around 1,000 people took part in these two events.

Saturday, May 21, our players travel to Aix en Provence to face the Argonautes, third in the Southern Conference. The Catalan Grizzlies need to win this match in order to retain their second place in the standings.
